They bring out the major plot lines of the Bible so that we can better understand how the 66 books that make up the Bible fit together. Bible introductions help us understand more about the Bible: Is the Bible reliable? How do we read the different types of literature in the Bible? Where do we start if we are not familiar with the Bible?

The Old Testament makes up the majority of the Bible but can seem daunting and difficult to understand. The books in this section aim to remedy this. You will also find more in depth treatments of Old Testament themes, theology, literature and history.
